Talk:Mu (letter)
Appearance
The entry states, "It is also used to represent coefficient of friction, micrometre and muon in physics" I challenge part of this statement, but only based on my general knowledge. I have learned that the lowercast symbol, μ, is, among others, the symbol for "micro", i.e. one millionth. This leads to the symbol for micrometre being μm.
I am, however, reluctant to change this Wikipedia entry. I'd appreciate it if a more experienced editor checked this out and did so.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Bluenoser47 (talk • contribs) 02:30, 5 September 2021 (UTC)
